Healing Through Growth & Awareness


I offer a counselling and psychotherapy service in the hills area of Perth, Western Australia.

Primarily focused on helping the 'whole' person; mind, body & spirit, I believe in the integration of these three areas as the key to a healthier, more fulfilling life. I facilitate the client's own healing journey by creating a relaxed, confidential and empathic environment in which expression, growth, healing and self-awareness are all gently and safely encouraged.

As a registered psychotherapist and counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), I provide evidence-based therapeutic tools with an emphasis on a gestalt approach, an acceptance-based form of therapy concerned with present-moment feelings, sensations and awareness.

I focus on exploring the direct experience of the client without trying to change behaviour directly prior to the client's own readiness and involvement. In this regard, I consider the client to be the most knowledgeable about their life, and together we explore meanings, find solutions and create a space for healing and compassionate self-discovery.

Integrating counselling, psychotherapy, coaching, neurobiological models of change and principles of mind, body and breath, I am passionate about crossing the bridge between change-based and acceptance-based models of healing, leading the client gently through their own process of self-discovery.

When we bridge these three key areas: psychotherapy (to address the emotional landscape of the past), mindfulness practice (to acknowledge and non-judgementally embrace the present) and coaching (to create a new future ideal and bring it to fruition with a clear intent), we create deep, powerful and lasting change in our lives.

When we address our challenges in this balanced and integrated way, we cultivate true purpose and self-love. We learn from the past and how it has shaped our personality. We learn to accept and love who and where we are in our lives in this moment. Then, we may make inspired, informed and loving decisions about our life's direction and create our future experience - with ease, joy and a deeper understanding of ourselves.

  • Person-to-person, Skype counselling and phone sessions are available, depending upon circumstances.
  • All sessions last a minimum of 60 minutes.
  • Skype and telephone sessions are payable prior to session.
  • Privacy and anonymity are protected.
  • Rebates apply for National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) members.
