Simon is an endorsed Clinical Psychologist and accredited psychotherapist who provides a warm, open and collaborative space for healing and growth.

Working with adults, children (6 yrs+) and adolescents from diverse backgrounds, Simon's treatment areas include: depression, anxiety, trauma, grief/loss, relationship difficulties, sleep issues, stress and adjustment issues, and other concerns. Simon's interpersonal style is relaxed, gentle and non-judgemental, validating your here-and-now experience whilst collaborating with you to bring about positive change.

Simon's treatment focus is humanistic and person-centered, addressing the whole person. Some of the approaches he utilises include: cognitive-behavioural therapies (CBT/ACT), schema therapy, couples therapy, trauma-focused approaches such as internal family systems (IFS) and EMDR, as well as mindfulness-based and experiential therapies. Simon has a particular interest in the understanding and treatment of complex trauma across the lifespan.

Simon completed postgraduate training in Clinical Psychology at Edith Cowan University, and holds additional training in counselling and psychotherapy, behavioural sleep medicine, and gestalt therapy. Simon has worked in varied roles including hospital mental health settings, child protection and private practice.

  • Accredited gestalt psychotherapist (Gestalt Training Institute of WA)
